James #132 Did well in not crashing his bike and set a new personal best lap time of 1:29.6 around the track at Pacific Raceways. He got a lot of attention for his best lap time on a stock 600c bike. In the 600cc SS class , he was gridded in the 3rd row of the second wave and finished 8th. The 750cc SS class he was the top 600 rider finishing 5th. For the races Sunday he was given improved grid position and finished 9th in the 600SBK and 7th in the 759 SBK on his 600cc Yamaha. Now he wants a hop up kit and race gas. This was the first event for James this year. Saturday races were rained on, but the early practice sessions were dry. James wisely chose to sit out the sprints Saturday and watched 2 of his team mates go down due to slick and unpredictable track conditions. Sunday was nice and the racing really picked up the pace. He rode the 600 Super Bike and 750 SBK classes and did very well. His grid position was last row(first event-no points yet) in each event.
